Hammers

With our successful history on the Air Transfer Systems, we were asked if we could extend the life of the Hammer Mill.

The Hammers, which typically have 2 mounting holes (1 on each side for the purpose of flipping the Hammers over to get use of all 4 corners), are problematic in that the hole located where the milling occurred becomes elongated from the abrasion and thus wearing out before a flip of the Hammer could be done to enable the use of all 4 corners.

With the use of our specialized metal along with our tough coat treatment, we manufactured new Hammers, resulting in the extension of wear life. With the hole in the milled area not distorting, the full use of all 4 corners of the Hammers are enabled.
